Monitoring large electric fences for livestock (think of Australia) takes a lot of effort. Fencyboy makes a farmer's life much easier by providing a digital twin of the fence in the cloud.

Multiple Fencyboys have been shipped to testers worldwide: Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, USA, South Africa and deployed locally here in Switzerland. Taking all the feedback into account, better versions of Fencyboy have been developed iteratively with a longer battery life of 3 years and a more durable enclosure for harsh environments.

Background: One night, I had to catch our neighbor’s horse, which got loose after the pasture fence broke and went unnoticed while they were away on vacation. Inspired by that unexpected cowboy-style rescue mission, I began developing Fencyboy.
