At Synature, we are a team of four developing bio-acoustic technologies to assess biodiversity. We aim to monitor ecosystem diversity through smart microphones, enabling us to evaluate the effectiveness of reforestation projects. Our approach involves recording and analyzing animal vocalizations to provide a scalable and automated measure of biodiversity. We aim to offer a solution enhancing reforestation project transparency and success rates, as one of two projects is currently failing.

Our initial focus is on the wolf. We successfully monitored the howling of wolves in Switzerland with our prototypes. By building on this experience in single-species monitoring, our long-term goal is to adopt a comprehensive biodiversity assessment approach.
