We have developed a prototype with a resolution of 1.6µm and multiple visual effects, at a price of $200. We secured pilot customers with CHF 13k in commitment, got CHF 10k from Venture Kick, and built a waitlist of 100+ early adopters. Our main goal is to turn microscopes into a new category of consumer electronics by offering not just hardware, but also an app for discovery and curiosity. Siyi, the CEO of Eureka! Microscope, found microscopy very fascinating. After realizing most people in the world can't enjoy the experience because a good product hasn't existed yet, she invited her friend Yu (CTO), who is passionate about cool technology, to join the venture....

Orbiit is a compatibility-based matchmaking platform for both friends and partners. Users create a profile and complete a survey focused on values, communication style, needs, and goals. Instead of offering endless options, we provide curated matches designed for genuine alignment. When both people agree, we coordinate the logistics to help them meet in real life. Orbiit was created in response to growing swipe fatigue and superficial digital interactions. We noticed that many platforms optimize for engagement rather than real compatibility. Orbiit was built to shift the focus back to quality, clarity, and meaningful in-person connection. We’ve launched our first in-person matchmaking events and attracted over 100+ early users through word-of-mouth and campus outreach. Our main goal is to develop a research-backed dating app that offers compatibility-based matching and real-world meetups, creating a more intentional and emotionally intelligent way to date. The project started after a breakup, when one of the co-founders began dating again and realised the dating world felt disconnected and surface-level. Our current mission is to uncover and craft the mechanics through which commerce will be conducted in a 5 year horizon. We are currently building Châtaigne, a service that allows restaurants to sell their food fully automatically, through natural language, on WhatsApp. We met at a San Francisco hackathon where we built Pay Parrot, a conversational commerce tool using LLMs, Stripe, and WhatsApp and won first place.After lunch with Stripe's CTO John Collison, we realized conversational interfaces could transform commerce entirely. We returned to Switzerland obsessed with the idea and launched Châtaigne to tackle food delivery first, choosing the industry's complexity as our proving ground....
