Andreas has been working tirelessly to set up the final details of the Metal Studio. Most of the tools have now arrived, the machines are in place, and we are currently adding the finishing touches to the workbenches and their drawers.

A Phased Launch

Because the machinery in the Metal Studio is heavy and presents high operational risks, we follow a strict safety concept. This means the studio launch will be a relatively slow process taking place over the coming semester.

Built on Your Feedback

Next to safety, usefulness and exploration are our secondary concerns. We have worked through the long list of feedback from many of our Makerspace and Project Support users to ensure the studio meets your needs and ideas, whenever possible.

Next Steps

As we finalise our new Metal Studio Introductions, we've been reaching out to a small group of pilot users based on the feedback we’ve received. We can’t accommodate everyone in this first phase, but we'll inform you as soon as more slots are available.
